As an attending orthopedic surgeon at NYU Langone Health, Dr. John G. Kennedy is responsible for providing surgery and non-invasive therapies to his patients while also conducting research on new treatments. In addition, Dr. John G. Kennedy serves as a professor of orthopedic surgery at NYU, a position he began in 2019 alongside his hospital appointment.

Dr. John Kennedy holds experience from service in both Ireland and the United States, such as University College, Dublin, where he was a senior lecturer in orthopedics, and the New York-based Hospital for Special Surgery, where he was a clinical fellow.

Alongside his medical degrees, Dr. Kennedy holds two certificates from the Royal College of Surgeons in general surgery and in orthopedics and traumatology, which he garnered in 2000 and 2003, respectively.
