With a current focus on public service, Florida native Dr. Linda Jack has more than a decade of experience as a veterinarian across the South and she has been practicing small animal medicine in Florida since returning to her home state in 2015. Dr. Linda Jack previously worked in North Carolina and Virginia at many busy small animal practices, rescue groups and emergency clinics.
Dr. Jack gained initial experience in her field as a veterinary technician in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, in the late 1990s. She subsequently served as a researcher with the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and authored a National Institutes of Health-funded research paper on bioterrorism. Attending the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed her doctorate of veterinary medicine (DVM) in 2006.
Dr. Jack also has a professional background spanning teaching, administration, and freelance writing, and she is a well-established musician and composer. Dr. Linda Jack is a person of faith who is strongly patriotic and had a father who served the country as an Air Force pilot.
