Dr Michael Klein

Providing walk-in services as an MD at the Texas Health Center in Victoria, Dr. Michael Klein treats 20-35 patients per day for on-the-job injuries. Dr. Michael Klein has also rendered emergency services at local hospitals, sometimes logging up to 130 hours per week.
Dr. Klein earned his medical degree in only three years from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his training in internal medicine at UT in Houston, cutting short his residency to attend to a family crisis.
In addition to an academic appointment at UT, Dr. Klein has served in several emergency rooms and was a contract staff physician at the Harris County jail.
During his vacation time, Dr. Klein has paid his own way on six medical missions to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Mexico, and also served the community of Laredo, Texas. A local newspaper nominated him as a “best of the best” doctor, and Texas Mutual honored him multiple times for his treatment of workers’ compensation patients.
Michael Klein, MD, has many outside interests, ranging from cattle ranching to astronomy. His other accomplishments include installing a Chevy engine in his Jeep.
