Since 1982, Dr. Micki Kloss has run her own general psychology private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. She began her career in higher education with a BS in secondary education/social studies from New Mexico State University (NMSU) in Las Cruces in 1971. She went on to pursue postgraduate work at NMSU and earned an MA in counseling and educational psychology in 1975. Furthermore, Dr. Micki Kloss completed an EdS in counseling and educational psychology in 1981 and a PhD in clinical psychology from California Coast University in 1990.

Not only is Dr. Micki Kloss a published author in both academia and print media, but she also hosted her own radio talk show called The Counselor’s Corner on KFNX in Phoenix, Arizona. On another Phoenix radio station, KFYI, she appeared as a guest host on the show titled Dual Career Families.

Outside of work, Dr. Kloss donates to charities, including animal rescue and her local food bank.
