Obianuju Okoye, MD, MBA, MS-Epi

Dr Okoye is an American and an experienced professional with a Doctor of Medicine (MD), an MBA in Health Care Management and a Masters in Epidemiology (Public Health).

A former NIH Clinical and Research Fellow, she has authored several publications and presented at notable conferences.

Dr Okoye worked as a HIV/AIDS detective (epidemiologist) for her state, helping to track and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. She also does HIV Quality Management.

Multilingual, she enjoys traveling and has embarked on medical mission trips to Nigeria, and Ghana in West Africa. She is also on the Advisory Council for an International Nonprofit helping empower Widows in rural Nigeria.

With her business hat on, Dr Okoye has done freelance work as a Medical Consultant in the Biotechnology world. She served as a Health Director/Consultant for an International Consulting Firm that has worked with the USAID, World Bank, and European Union. She has written many notable scientific articles such as topics on Medicare, the Affordable Care Act and Ebola. She has a passion for preventive care, nutrition and healthy living being a big part. Dr Okoye is a part of the Paleo Diet Team on the renowned Paleo Diet website , along with Dr Loren Cordain.

Dr Okoye is open to clinical, healthcare and international business opportunities and strategic innovations. She has a keen interest in preventative health, and bridging the gap to help improve the availability, access and delivery of health care.
