Throughout his career as a doctor and researcher, Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt has distinguished himself in several diverse fields. In 1994, Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt received his Bachelor of Science from the UC San Diego in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. He then finished his undergraduate education with a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine in 1996. In 2001, Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt received a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Strategy from The Drucker Institute Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California. Returning to the field of medicine following business school, Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt worked at University Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona, completing his internship and residency in internal medicine and then a fellowship in cardiology at The University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center. In the last decade, Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt has contributed to numerous important research projects in the field of cardiology. Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt received the 2004 to 2005 Distinguished Research Award from The University of Arizona Department of Medicine for his contribution to the research working on the project "Cardiac MRI during Sustained Ventricular Fibrillation in an Adult Swine Model - With a Focus on the Electrical Phase." In 2005, Dr. Rajan D. Bhatt’s contributions to University Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona, were recognized with a nomination for the Housestaff Teaching Award.
