Dr Rub (born Joseph Ruben) is a young talented Haitian DJ and Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Producer specially trance, techno and house. he has built a good reputation in his native country in this environment and has become one of the most requested DJs for private parties (wedding, birthdays, oldskool party, dinner, happy hour, children and adult parties etc …) although quite rare on public signs. Although specialized in playing DANCE MUSIC, he had a large diversity of genre in his playlist such: Blues, Jazz, country, Rnb, Disco, Soul…Etc. His reputation is granted thanks to his remarkable talent in mixing tracks and refined taste in choosing songs. his dJ career and music producer began in 2005 after listening to two old acquaintances on the courtyard of the university discussing a software with which we could make music like techno arrangement easily. he quickly threw in search of this software which awakened in him a sudden curiosity. Convinced to be born talented because of his ability to handle any instrument (guitar, piano, flute ...) that he touches for the first time, and the discovery of his self-taught faculties in learning, he devotes himself to use in full all the musical talent he has in him and pursue his precious dreams to reach his goal in life. So he had at the same time the software to mix tracks and has performed for the first time a month later in a great private party (FUEGO) on the night of students carnival . He began to create a Techno song (STRING GAME) during his solo learning that he later published on his Myspace page in 2006 and on www.youtube.com/rubhaiti. he published in 2007 a remix of the song by Robert Miles (Children), and also FLY ROBIN FLY by SILVER CONVENTION with a session techno and trance mix music on a CD and distributed it strictly to friends. he collaborated with young and talented artists in several musical projects on their albums or singles. he began his experiences on the radio in 2008 when being invited by two friends who held a show every Sunday (FREE SUNDAY on Radio One 90.1) on the best party station at the moment. he was mixing strictly techno and trance genres in his show. Inspired and influenced mainly by some great old world renowned artists such as (Barry White, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole ...), his mission is to take on the aesthetic in all his works and keep his taste, his passion for good music.
