I am the Superintendent of Porter Township Schools. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree from Purdue University in Elementary Administration and Supervision, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership. I have taught every grade from Pre-School through 8th grade at some point during my career in education! I have been the Assistant Principal at Flint Lake Elementary School, the principal at Parkview Elementary School, and the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment prior to being the Superintendent of Porter Township Schools. I have shared my life with my husband, Rich, since 1996. He pastors Living Hope Community Church in Valparaiso. We have twin sons, David and Jonathan. We enjoy playing with our sons, reading, playing games, renovating our house, and playing with our dogs Elle and Em in our spare time. Additionally we run with Team World Vision to bring sustainable, clean water to children in Africa. This has become a big passion for us!
