Dr Suresh Dasarathy

Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Dr Dasarathy trained as a paediatrician before specialising in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Currently he works as a Locum Consultant in the NHS and also does pro bono consultative work in India regularly.

Dr Dasarathy has highly specialist skills and experience in the diagnosis and management of paediatric cases with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, other emotional disorders, behavioural disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD), tics disorders (including Tourette’s), paediatric liaison cases (including managing self harming & suicidal behaviour, somatoform disorders and medically unexplained physical symptoms). He has specialist experience in using medicines and various forms of psychotherapy for managing young people and their families affected with mental health problems.
