Kara Goyette, ND

Dr. Goyette attended the National College of Natural Medicine, a four year program where she received her Naturopathic Doctorate (ND) and a certificate in Obstetrics. She enjoys the diversity that her practice as a primary care physician brings. She is especially interested in working with patients who are pregnant, pediatric patients, those facing challenges with infertility, ADD/ ADHD, and autism spectrum patients.

Dr. Goyette believes that each patient is an individual and should be treated as such. Therefore, each treatment plan is catered to the individual. All treatments should be agreed upon by both the patient and the physician. The patient and the physician are a team with the common goal of wellness. She also believes that the body has the innate ability to heal itself. Sometimes there are obstacles that prevent the body from healing. Naturopaths are trained in many different tools to help eliminate the obstacle and help the body return to health. It is Dr. Goyette’s goal to help her patients achieve optimal health.

For her doula patients it is Dr. Goyette’s belief that the best place to have a baby is that place in which the mother is most comfortable. For many mothers this is in their own homes. For others it is in a hospital or clinic setting. Dr. Goyette is available to work with all women throughout the birth process as a doula or as a health consultant. It is her goal to help the mother and family to achieve optimal health throughout the pregnancy. This includes preconception, prenatal and postnatal health.

Dr. Goyette enjoys working with families as a naturopath and a doula. She also enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her husband, and their thee daughters.
