ESCViceChair.LouAguion
While it may be fitting to say that Lou is beauty and brains brought to life, it is also an understatement. Anyone who has worked with Lou can attest to her commitment as a Mechanical Engineering Representative in the Engineering Student Council. She is also a member of the ESC's Public Relations Committtee where she is the head of Org-to-org and the Engineering Text System.
She is also a great motivator, which is why when she along with her co-department representatives pioneered the MECHANICS, the official volunteer corps of the ME Department, it wasn't long before ME students signed up to be part of the MECHANICS. Aside from this, her vast experience as a student leader allows her to be very hands-on in many events, whether it be in terms of recruitment, logistics, and publicity, among others.
As a member of the UP Gears and Pinions, she has also exhibited this versatility as former head of the Membership Committee, member of the Ways and Means Committee, and two-time Programs Head for the Diliman Motorshow.
Lou sets the standard for student-leadership that is inclusive and inspiring, one that transcends titles, allowing for an honest and real relationship with her friends and colleagues. The undeniable coherence and consistency of her words in relation to her actions reinforces her integrity and credibility. Given all this and more, there is no question as to why Lou is our ESC Vice Chairperson.
