A brief Biography of Barry C Anderson aka Barry Gourmet & Raw or Holistic Chef Barry Born in Ontario Canada ,Barry as a young boy was influenced by Walt Disney Cartoons, and Nature from working the family farm during school breaks plus the art work of Norman Rockwell. After graduating from Sheridan College in 1977 for Classical Animation 2-D Barry got his first break in Cartoon Animation in 1978 animating the cartoon monkey “Curious George”a TV series. Then in 1979 Barry received an invitation to animate the hit TV series the Flintstones and Scooby Doo for the famed Hanna-Barbara Studios in Hollywood California which led to years of work with major production houses including Walt Disney, MGM, Marvel, Fimation and Warner Bros.just to name a few. But all of this success had a very big price for Barry to pay. “My weight ballooned over the years of working a cartoon desk job and not eating right.” “My health failed me and I was hospitalized with serious weight related complications due to my obesity. “ “I made a confirmation oath to myself from my hospital bed that I will somehow reverse this condition and that I will find the answers to my problem and I did . I lost more than 100 pounds of excess body fat on my small frame of standing only 5 foot 4 inches tall and now today 2 decades later I am still trim and fit.
