Edgar Fauteux

Edgar Fauteux serves the Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) as Americas governance and compliance leader. An international chemical company operating out of Riyadh, SABIC brings in tens of billions of dollars in sales revenue annually. In his managerial role, Edgar Fauteux implements internal controls and governance risk and compliance procedures in addition to overseeing his professional staff. Before joining SABIC, Edgar Fauteux was a financial executive for enterprises in Brazil. He started out as controller with a subsidiary of The Barnes Group, Inc., a multinational business with more than a half billion dollars in sales. Following that, he served United Technologies Corporation as controller and then chief financial officer of one of the company's subsidiaries, in Sao Paulo. With the help of his finance team, Mr. Fauteux implemented requirements related to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Sarbannes-Oxley Act and helped increase sales returns dramatically at the local site. In his private life, he enjoys reading books by John McPhee and Stephen Ambrose, spending time with his family, and playing tennis.
