Eddie Acevedo

Eddie Acevedo is a seasoned writer, former journalist and educator. He has worked on several national and local news desks for television and print - including CNN, FNC, and CBS. In Washington, D.C., he has served as National Communications Director for a national Latino organization.

Aside from his work in journalism, he has created, developed, and served several non-profits and community organizations to build and support early child literacy & community leadership programs; For nearly 10 years, he has worked to create greater transportation & community access, employment opportunities, and housing support for people with disabilities. He has been honored for developing programs to aide homeless families, elderly, and support inner-city high school & college students. He has been credited with providing assistance to hundreds of inner city families, students, and those searching for work.

Over the last several years he has built a small business helping other small businesses and solopreneurs reach their full potential. Eddie graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara and CSU, earning a BA, MA, and MBA.
