Elaina Rose Stover
Elaina Rose is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, offering private instruction to individuals and small groups. Elaina is committed to teaching yoga as an art form and a holistic healing system. She seeks to provide students with enhanced understanding of asana, tools for a home practice, and breath awareness.
Elaina first dove into yoga by accident, when she discovered her father's vintage copy of "Light on Yoga" by BKS Iyengar. Yoga was a source of inspiration for her studies of neuroscience and dance/movement studies at University of Rochester. After her undergraduate studies, she studied with Francois Raoult M.A., R.I.Y.T., to whom she owes much gratitude to for illuminating the pages of "Light on Yoga". As a graduate of Raoult's Teacher Training Program in Rochester, NY she studied Ayurveda with Dr. Robert Svoboda and Sonam Targee, and later specialized in Ayurvedic face and scalp massage. She resumed her study of medicine in order to use her growing expertise to connect with others and provide integrated healing. Currently, she is a student at AOMA Graduate School of Medicine pursuring a Masters in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. In the future, she aspires to open a practice where tools from both yoga and Chinese Medicine can be utilized to find optimized health solutions for clients.
