Winestains is the "handle" that I created when I first signed up for a Gmail address many years ago. My tagline then was that I was "proud of the stain that wine had made on my life."

When the time came to start my own marketing / communications / public relations consultancy, I tried to choose another name, but Winestains proved too hard to get out! Winestains has now come to symbolize the making of an impression - hopefully an indelible impression - but more importantly, as always for me, an impression to be proud of.
