An accomplished physical therapist, Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Cendan earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond and then pursued a doctorate in physical therapy at Chatham University. While at Chatham, she served as an intern at Human Motion Rehabilitation Center and then at ManorCare Rehabilitation. Subsequently, Dr. Elizabeth Cendan completed an additional internship with UPMC Hospital.
In 2007, Dr. Elizabeth Cendan accepted a position as a physical therapist at Rusk Institute NYUMC, where she focused on treating patients with cardiac conditions. Over the following years, Liz worked at the Rusk Institute in various departments, including outpatient services, acute care, and women's health. Her prior experience includes serving as a physical therapist for O'Connell, Selig and Associates. Dr. Liz Cendan has also delivered lectures at the Philadelphia College of Medicine's campus in Georgia.
Alongside her career, Dr. Liz Cendan devotes time to various charitable causes, including as a 9/11 Ground Zero Volunteer, hurricane relief efforts, and at the Garden City Community Church. She also supports breast cancer awareness and motherhood-related causes. In her leisure time, she enjoys running and practicing yoga.
