I'am Eliza Marie Yutuc Dumo, I was born on October 11, 1990. I was born in Philippines and proud to be a Filipino! I grew up in Manila with a wonderful and respective family in our community. Even though my mom and my dad got separated when I was young they raised me as a good and God-fearing.
My mother have to leave and work abroad so she applied here in Canada as a nanny and work hard here so she can send me some money for my education. After my Elementary graduation my mom left me to work in Canada.
For the mean time I lived at my Aunt's place in San Pedro Laguna, Philippines. This is the time that I learned everything like how to be an independent, how to stand up on your own, how to be strong and how to face the days without my mother.
After my 3rd year high school I have to go back in town and move at my grand father's house so I can help him. So I continue my last year in high school. Finally I'am graduating high school, a week before our graduation I got high fever and have lots of rash all over my body, my grand father and my uncle rushed me to emergency and the doctor's do some test to me. And when the results done they found out that I have a stage 2 dengue fever. Dengue virus is primarily transmitted by mosquitoes. I have to stay in hospital till I get better and because the doctor's need to check me every 30 minutes see if this virus is getting better or getting worst. So I missed my high school graduation. I didn't experience how to march as high school graduating student. When the hospital dis charge me to the hospital someone's was waiting for me at my grand father's house. When we got home I was so shock because I'm not expecting that my mom was gonna got home for vacation. So we enjoy the days that she's gonna stay in Philippines.
So my mother went back to Canada and it's almost June I have to decide which course I'm gonna take in college. I decided to take Education so I enrol my self in Southeast Asia School. I move in school dormitory so it will be convenient for me. I don't have to rush my self every morning because I'm gonna get stuck on traffic.
I was 16 years old, 3rd year college when I found out that I was pregnant. God is still good even though I almost give up that time because I don't know what to do and I don't want my mom get disappointedto me but God still in there besides me, guiding me, c
