Elle Machnovsky

Hi, thanks for following me on Twitter (or at least taking the time out to look at my Twitter link)! Here are 10 things you never wanted to know about my Twitter habits:

.) Since I love the internet so much, I make an exhaustive effort to look at your profile. I will usually follow back if I can see you are a real person with similar interests (or at least post 140 characters of interesting things). I don't follow people who post random 3 word sentences that appear to be completely automated. I usually don't follow marketers that tweet advertisements 24/7 and don't interact (unless those advertisements appeal to my interests or appear in the form of my interests).

.) I don't tweet all the time. I try to keep it down to one tweet per day. Though, this is subject to change. Follow at your own risk.

.) I use Yfrog because sometimes I like to follow people and look at their tweets some of the time, but, not all of the tweets all of the time. Yfrog allows me to do this with ease. Until I can find something like "Google+ Circles" for Twitter, I'll continue to use Yfrog, and may be forced to invest more time in Twitter Lists.

.) I paint a lot and Tweet about it.

.) My real name is Ellen Marcus (or if you've found me on IMDB it's "Ellen Marcus (II)". My Twitter name is my pen name.

.) If you speak a language I don't understand, I probably won't follow back because my feed doesn't auto-translate. Here are the languages I do understand: english, broken english, engrish and sometimes spanish or spanglish.

.) If I don't follow you back right away, it means one of two things. First, I may not be glued to the computer at that moment. Or, second, it may be due to some of the reasons listed above.

.) In most instances I won't tweet again before following back new followers. However, in some rare instances, I will tweet from my cell phone because I am able (at that moment) to spell all utilized words correctly and am away from my computer.

.) I'm probably making this more complex than it needs to be.

.) I should be getting payed for this, but, I'm not.
