Emily Ryan

Emily Ryan is a first year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She is majoring in accounting and minoring in finance.

Through her work and volunteer history Emily has learned many skills. She is learning to handle money and accounts for others through being on the treasruer committee for her sorority. Emily has learned leadership skills through her job as a lifeguard through leading rescues to leading practice for rescues. Through this job she has also learned to work with a team. Rescues involve many people and everyone needs to communicate together to make a save. These skills are growing as Emily continues to study at Rawls.
