Emily Hershenson

Emily Hershenson serves the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, in her capacity as a licensed independent clinical social worker. The position requires she provide resource referrals and conduct insight-oriented counseling. Since joining the NIH, Emily Hershenson has participated in the organization’s annual social work conference. While there, she spoke on issues related to mental health and HIV/AIDS.

A professionally engaged social worker, Emily Hershenson belongs to the Greater Washington Society for Clinical Social Work and the National Association of Social Workers.
