Manolis Koutoulakis

I studied Planning and Regional Development at the Polytechnic School of the University of Thessaly, and continued with my postgraduate studies obtaining a Master's Degree in Planning and Regional Policy. Currently I am completing my doctoral thesis in International and European Relations at the University of Piraeus.

I work as a Planner, offering my expertise on issues regarding spatial planning, regional policy, project evaluation and EU-fund raising for local authorities.

I am a proud member of the Research team of [DevelopmentLAB] in the University of Pireaus. We are not following the normality of an inward-looking academic unit, so we are more like a network of young and dedicated-to-results scientists and professionals offering integrated services to public and private entities, covering a wide range of advisory fields, such as: Development Strategy, Planning, Local Territorial Development Schemes, EU-funds planning and so on. Former experience as policy advisor to several Ministerial Officials of GR Governments, inspired me to try more for the enhancment of the advisory intelligence and knowledge on eu affairs and funding mechanisms.
