Emmanuel Gonsalves

A former gas planning engineer with San Francisco’s Pacific Gas Transmission Company, Emmanuel Gonsalves earned a bachelor of science and a master of science in mechanical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. While working toward his master of science, he served as an adjunct instructor at Essex County College. Emmanuel Gonsalves subsequently earned a master of business administration at the University of California, Berkeley, and a juris doctor from the Fordham University School of Law.

While serving as an associate at the Law Office of Earle C. Roberts & Associates in Brooklyn, New York, Emmanuel Gonsalves simultaneously instructed students as a professor at Medgar Evers College and the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Since the 1990s, he has turned increasingly toward college leadership positions, serving in a series of administrative posts at Medgar Evers College. Mr. Gonsalves most recently served as vice president of finance and strategy for Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
