Ericka Torres

In 1991 an artist named Ericka Torres was born in Jersey City, NJ. Her inspiration comes from nature, landscape, and people. Ericka studied art through taking classes from elementary school to high school and then fine-tuned her art at Wood Tobe-Coburn where she studied graphic design. In 2008 Ericka won an award in high school for a painting depleting fire safety awareness that was displayed in an exhibit in newport mall. Although she is most passionate about drawing she loves painting, mixed media, and graphic design.

Ericka's journey through life has been extremely hard, abusive, emotionally draining, and the only outlets were art, music, and her youth center. After traveling to California, Chicago, Washington, Pennsylvanian, New York, Philadelphia, Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic. Which inspired her to create her new found style. She is currently working on a painting, reflections of love, heart ache, and relationships.
