Erika Kellum

I am an undergraduate student at Eastern Washington University. I will be graduating in June 2012 with a double major in Applied Developmental Psychology and Children's Studies. My passion is working with children and helping them achieve the greatness that they are capable of having and being. Over the course of my years in college, I have developed an interest in the school psychology profession. I feel that children all deserve to get the best education as well as the best environment for learning. I have had the opportunity to volunteer at elementary schools in my area by helping teachers, as well as working under a school psychologist. I am planning on applying to graduate schools and making my dream, of becomming a school psychologist, a reality.

My mission is to encourage, motivate and educate young children. I want to help them build positive self-esteems, find happiness and reach their full potential. By using my talents and experiences I will help to improve elementary school environments and curriculum so that the chidlren can grow in their personal and academic performance. I will strive to help provide brighter futures for the children that I work with.
