Eugene Maftsir

An experienced financial professional, Eugene ‘Evgeny’ Maftsir (Евгений Мафцир)is the president of BEV Associates, a New Jersey-based international brokerage that he established in 2002. Having emigrated to the United States with $300 in his pocket, he has since gone on to lead the organization to become a multi-million-dollar firm.

While living in his native Latvia, Eugene Maftsir studied at the Latvian State University, where he graduated with a bachelor of applied math in 1984. Following this, he earned a master’s of mathematics at the same university in 1986.

Over the following years, he held roles with the College of Civil Aviation Engineers and NPO Progress before moving to New Jersey in 1990. That same year, he joined Elegant Logic Inc. as an executive vice president, a position he held for six years.

This subsequently led to a Mr. Maftsir becoming president of Elbron Holdings, a role he held before founding BEV Associates. In the position, he was responsible for commodities trading and bridge loans, among other duties.
