Eva Jeanne Markosky

Eva Jeanne Markosky, an environmental engineering student at the Pennsylvania State University, divides her time between preparing for a career, participating in nonprofit initiatives, and pursuing various multi-cultural interests. She has interned for The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc., in Pennsylvania. During two separate internships, she provided field support and reports and assisted the engineering and design teams with computer-aided design and drafting and in performing bridge inspections. In her most recent internship at the firm, Eva Jeanne Markosky focused on environmental field work, design, and permitting; she helped environmental engineers and scientists evaluate the environmental impacts of bridge, roadway, and natural gas pipeline projects, compiled data, and drafted related reports.
In her free time, Ms. Markosky pursues a myriad of interests. She has devoted her time and resources to the nonprofit buildOn and to the Penn State Dance Marathon (commonly called the THON). An outdoorswoman, Ms. Markosky enjoys fly-fishing and hunting in western Pennsylvania. She also likes hiking, skiing, and whitewater rafting. A fan of exploring new places, she has traveled throughout the United States and visited France and Germany. She enjoys a variety of ethnic foods, including Mexican and Thai cuisines, as well.
