A highly educated laboratory chemist, Evan A. Weitz holds a bachelor of arts in general chemistry, a master of science in synthetic organic chemistry, and a of philosophy (PhD) in organic and analytical chemistry from the University of Minnesota (UMN) in Minneapolis. While working toward his PhD, he earned a Wayland E. Noland Fellowship for scholastic and scientific excellence and contributed to published studies in neuroimaging to help diagnose and understand both Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. In addition to his laboratory work at UMN, Evan A. Weitz served two years as a teaching assistant and organic chemistry tutor. He continues to tutor students today as an ACT math and science expert with Achieve Academics.

Evan A. Weitz’s primary professional commitment is conducting electronics repair and restoration as a senior lab technician with Absolute Sound Laboratories. Through his work at Absolute Sound, Mr. Weitz has significantly expanded his knowledge of battery chemistry.
