Eze Agha
Eze Okechukwu Agha was born in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Nigeria, later living in Calabar, Cross River State, from 1983 to 1996. Where he attended the State Housing Estate Primary School, Calabar for his primary education and the West African people’s Institute, Calabar, for his post primary education.
Agha was awarded a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in Banking and Finance from the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Nigeria in 2004. He then proceeded to Kebbi State, Nigeria, where he took part in the NYSC national service to his father land, serving as Economic and English Language teacher at Sambawa Government Secondary School, Sambawa, Kebbi State between 2005 to 2006.
His first degree thesis, ‘A Critical Evaluation of Bank Recapitalization as a proactive measure by the Central Bank of Nigeria in sanitizing the banking industry in Nigeria; Problems and Prospects’ was supervised by Dr. Linus Idam and received commendation from faculty members for its originality as well as receiving an “A*” score.
The quest for knowledge took Agha to the University of Nigeria, Nssuka (UNN) Enugu campus where he obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 2014 specializing in Banking and Finance.
His MBA degree Dissertation Effect of Company Financial Policy on Corporate Performance was supervised by Dr. B.E. Chikeleze.
Agha also graduated with a Master’s of Science (MSC) degree in Corporate Finance in 2015 from the prestigious University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. His MSC dissertation ‘Evaluation of Entrepreneurial Finance and Structured Start-ups Financing options in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects’ were under the supervision of Professor Penny MacDonald.
