Fred Nwankwo

I am a writer that specializes in topics related to Nigeria'a socio-political landscape. I am the publisher of African LifeStyles Magazine and African LifeStyles Community Report on the internet. Our publications creatively combine the coverage of immigrant African activities in the US and events in Nigeria. The feedback we get is that when an event appears in our magazine or community report, it is seen as "THE EVENT!"

But is is not about me; It is about our magazine.

Welcome!

Welcome to our website. While you may have logged on to find out more about our photography, our flagship product, African LifeStyles Magazine is America’s premiere magazine that focuses on the immigrant African communities of this great nation. As a full scale Media Production company, we are involved in every aspect of day-to-day events in these communities – print media, photography, video, promotional/gift items and other aspects printing.

The Magazine:

African LifeStyles covers immigrant African communities in Diaspora like a blanket. As we enter our fourth year of circulation, it is clear that we have clearly demonstrated that not only are we here to stay, we are here to set the standard by which good African publications should be judged. Our magazine showcases immigrant African communities in Diaspora at their best. While you may find that our style of presenting our stories to be photo intensive – you will also be delighted to see that our stories are solid and well written. Every edition brings you quality stories that we either break, or reproduce from home grown sources. These sources are otherwise not easily accessible to our readers especially our readers outside Africa.

Our goal is simple. To passionately combine EBONY, Essence, and Forbes into one great magazine that focuses on our communities in Diaspora. We strongly believe that you would enjoy reading our magazine.

About US

African LifeStyles – our flagship product came to being due to our belief that Africa, especially African people in Diaspora need a media source that projects them at their very best. It is our belief that nobody can tell our story (the African story) better than African people. We cannot rely on others to tell our best stories for us. Outside the continent of Africa, African excel at everything they do. Our students are among the best. O
