Fabiola E Cruz

A former government employee, Fabiola E. Cruz currently works as a birth certificate registrar at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. In this position, which she began in 2014, she collects data to generate birth certificates and records of still births and delivers this documentation to the parents and the state. Prior to this position, Ms. Cruz was a process administrator at Ecompex, a document management firm in Lenexa, Kansas, that provides imaging and coding services for the government. Fabiola E. Cruz's other work experience includes serving as a court clerk for the City of Roeland Park for almost three years and as the lead court clerk for the City of Merriam for eight years.

Ms. Cruz is presently studying political science at Johnson County Community College and intends to transfer to Kansas State University to complete her bachelor’s degree. She aspires to go to law school and become a civil rights advocate for the Hispanic community.

Outside of work and school, Fabiola Cruz enjoys volunteering at her church, where she spends two hours every Saturday tutoring high school students. As she is bilingual, she also volunteers her time at schools, translating for non-English-speaking parents at parent-teacher meetings and conferences.
