Family Link is a nonprofit foster care and adoption agency that has placed over 3,500 children with foster and adoptive families, placing approximately 80 children each year in need their forever adoptive homes. Based in central Texas, Family Link has served the community for over 10 years through a network of homes and the Legacy Ranch facility for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Also a licensed Christian Children’s Homes, the organization serves Austin, San Antonio, and the surrounding communities.

In addition to providing a safe space for children to live and heal while waiting for their forever families, Family Link offers regular foster parenting courses for prospective guardians to help ensure that a child’s new home offers a supporting, nurturing, and safe environment that conforms to the child’s individual needs. Held every six to eight weeks, the trainings are free. Also, retreats provide foster and adoptive parents access to a community of experienced caregivers.

As a nonprofit, the organization is partially funded by donations and is in the midst of an online fundraising drive.
