Dan and Johanna McTiernan are the founders of The Handmade Bakery, the first Community Supported Bakery in the UK and at the forefront of the real bread revolution.

They run School Of Slow, an education project committed to exploring, rediscovering and developing the skills intrinsic to slow food; living simply and more self sufficiently.

Finca Slow is their family home, farm and bakery. They grow Fulla de Salze (a rare endangered variety) and Arbequina olives for oil, almonds and are developing vegetable and cereal growing and sheep and chicken raising.
