Flying Mantis

Thank you for taking the time to check out my project and donating or buying your raffle ticket! I am raffling off two prizes: a Burning Man ticket and also a large 3' wall-hanging Om made from steel, back-lit with color-changing LEDs like the one in this photo.

$10 gets you one raffle ticket. To be fair, the limit on this is 5 tickets per raffle, per person (up to ten per person total). This will be a bigger, better version of a mantis, one of my favorite little beings. I plan to have programmed LED lighting and fire poofers in the arms that will fire into the night sky. The wings of the bug will fly back into the wind, as if he'll be taking off in flight. And yeah, people will still be able to sleep in its belly, just like last time.

The official fundraiser party and silent art auction will be held at Sidebar in Phoenix, Arizona at 7:30pm, Thursday, June 26th. I will be drawing names for the raffles there at 10pm. Winners will be contacted personally and also annoucned on the event page.
