Dr. Frank J. Plaschke
CFO Advisor, Hospice and Palliative Care Volunteer, and Ex Partner McKinsey and BCG in München
After nearly two decades shaping the CFO agenda at BCG — including nine years as Partner and founder of its global CFO practice — and four more years at McKinsey advancing the CFO service line, I now work independently as a CFO Advisor, helping to define what “The Future of Finance” can be.
Independence gives me the privilege to work only where I can make a difference — with ambitious CFOs and teams ready to create real impact.
Since 2022, I’ve also been a volunteer hospice and end-of-life companion with Hospizdienst DaSein e.V., supporting people in their final chapter. And since 2023, I’ve served as a juror and coach for StartSocial e.V., the McKinsey-initiated competition that empowers social and non-profit initiatives across Germany. Together with the last social initiative I coached, we were selected among Germany’s Top 25 and celebrated in Berlin at the Chancellor’s award ceremony — a deeply rewarding moment of shared success.
