Las vegas native Gavea is a Song writer and abstract painter who dedicates most of her time writing timeless music that speak to the soul. With an ear for music,this extraordinary artist shows the masses lyrical delivery as well as versatility,her whole aim is to not be pigeonholed under a Genre, She simply wants to deliver music that moves the crowd. Gavea spent her early life being raised by her late grandmother where she developed a great love for black & white films and jazz music. As she grew older her musical taste was wide ranging from Celia Cruz, Michael Jackson,Sade,Sting,Prince,The Roots,Queen Latifah,Ella Fitzgerald,The Beatles,Madonna,.Frank Sinatra and Tupac Shakur to name a few. She was always writing and dreaming that one day she’d have the opportunity to perform songs that express the human experience the way she’s seen it. At the age of 19 got her first gig as a t.v. personality for celebrity scene news where she worked closely with owner pete allman,and associates. In her brief modeling career she has graced the pages of books and magazine, retiring early for a position as an A&R for Mr.Lamont Patterson CEO of World Movement Records and C.D. Palmer CEO of IEA.Biz learning the business inside and out as she paid dues by working with a wide array of artist and on the production team for the west coast bangaz compilation album. As she continued to hone her musical craft she released her first single entitled "May I" in 2012 and went back into the studio to get her mix tape "B.A.U.R.S" completed along with her first E.P. "Untitled", The ensuing volume of work included a song produced by Cottrell A. Dawson entitled "Fade Away" Ms.Gavea decided to offer as a free download to her fans and the world,it went on to be well received by thousands of music lovers,making it her biggest song to date. As she continues to push the musical envelope,her hope is to bring everyone into the artistic realm of "Gavea".
