Egregious human rights violations and severe poverty: the two greatest threats to humankind. Together, we can lay them to rest.

Positive, personable, and pragmatic, Gabriella (Gabby) aspires to be a human rights advocacy and humanitarian aid powerhouse. She understands that dialogue between governmental and non-governmental agencies is paramount, along with strong ties among grassroots organizations on all levels.

Her desire to strengthen such bonds can be seen through her creation of an Amnesty International chapter at Converse College, summer with Habitat for Humanity Spartanburg as a Project Coordination Assistant through the AmeriCorps Bonner Leadership Program, and continued participation in Converse's internationally renowned Model Programs debate team.

In addition, her internship at WSPA-News Chanel 7 during the fall of 2013 further illuminates her compassionate desire to uncover the truth and divulge her findings to the public. Her blog, thehungryhungryhumanitarian.tumblr.com , also gives insight to her commitment to positive social change, along with highlighting her photography.

With a bountiful soul and vivacious hunger for knowledge, understanding and inter-cultural exploration, Gabby will bring a desirable energy and light to any and all humanistic callings.
