Rosario Garbizu

Hello, I am Rosario Garbizu. I am 20 years old and I was born and raised in Mar del Plata. I moved to La Plata 3 years ago, to study to become a translator. I am the oldest of four siblings, My sister Maite is 19, my brother Francisco is 17 and my little brother, Simón, is 4. I love reading and playing computer games but, generally, I enjoy any activity that can be done indoors. I love learning, especially languages. I have loved English since I was around 10 years old and this love has only grown. I love studying in a different city even though my first year was extremely difficult. I had to adapt to not only college life, which is pretty hard in and of itself, but also to the new city and the student house, where I am currently residing. I love being in the student house, I had the chance to meet more people that were, somehow, going through the same things as me. I am glad I can call them my friends, they made my first years easier to overcome. I was really looking forward to starting classes and I was quite disappointed when the pandemic broke out. Nevertheless, I am incredibly grateful that I can, at least, have virtual classes.
