Gary Atwood

From a young age he was inspired to draw. Without any formal training, he began sketching, painting in oils, and working in clay. To say that design runs in his blood would be an understatement.

Atwood is a colorist who celebrates the subtle, natural beauty of ordinary scenes and products in a way that is both intense and dramatic. Atwood's style of design is influenced by his work with international NPO's, drawing inspiration from many cultures around the globe with emphasis on African and Japanese culture. His talents lay across a wide range of media such as sculpture, watercolor, colored pencil, acrylic, oil, graphic design, web, video and more.

Currently Atwood heads the design department for ISIS BY Design as well as for Multeepurpose clothing Co. He is responsible for most of the designs, as well as managing the rest of the department and interns. He continually challenges himself by attacking a wide range of projects that include video, print, logo and web design.

Outside of Multeepurpose, Gary sets time aside for freelance projects. He has done work for many companies and organizations such as Repurpose, The Los Angeles County Democratic Party, Motion Theory Yoga, StepForward at Crash Mansion, UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival, UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, Autolease Options, Effortless Activism, Muziq Unlimited Entertainment and more.
