Gavin Gusling

I've spent more than 30 years helping organisations solve complex problems and improve performance in environments where reliability, resilience and service delivery matter.

My career has spanned healthcare, emergency services, government, pharmaceutical manufacturing, defence, mining, transport, manufacturing and professional services, leading large-scale transformation across technology, operations, governance and people. I enjoy helping organisations navigate complexity, modernise capability and deliver outcomes that make a meaningful difference to the communities and customers they serve.

Recognised as Victorian CIO of the Year, I've led teams of more than 200 staff, managed budgets exceeding US$80M and delivered transformation programs across statewide and global operations. My experience includes executive leadership at Ambulance Victoria, technology due diligence for global mergers, acquisitions and divestments, and the delivery of complex Greenfield and Brownfield programs.

I work comfortably from the boardroom to the frontline, partnering with boards, executive teams, industry and operational staff to turn strategy into practical, measurable results.

What continues to motivate me is solving difficult problems, building capable teams and creating organisations that are stronger, more resilient and better prepared for the future.

I've learned that technology can enable change, but people, leadership and execution are what make it succeed.
