I am a husband and father to a lovely wife and fantastic daughter. I am currently a high school special education resource teacher. I am a passionate coach and coach various school sports as well a university lacrosse at Trent U. I believe that through coaching we can teach students/players many valuable life lessons that will continue to provide them will value as they travel through their life journey!
As an educator I am working everyday to improve my craft and keep it fresh for myself so I can be better for my students! I have held various roles over the course of my teaching career and have taught in both the elementary and secondary panels. These include teaching grade 5 and 8, secondary physical education, and special education in various roles. I have also taken seveal additional qualification courses to increase my professional knowledge.
I am currently taking Integration of Technology in the classroom. I am hoping to learn some basic ways to differentiaite content in our Web 2.0 world! I think this course will be able to lend itself to any grade or level I find myself in.
Hopefully through this course my breadth of skills will increase :)
