George Antaki is an entrepreneur with business development and management background. He is the founder and CEO of Paquik, the first platform in the UAE that lets people securely send items with travelers all around the world cheaper and quicker than the usual courier.
Born and raised in Syria with Greek origins, George obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Damascus University, Faculty of Economy in 2010 and was certified as a Startup School participant from Y Combinator entrepreneurship program.
George has more than 15 years of working experience in Syria, started at BAHI Motors Co. - BMW AG group importers as a Marketing Coordinator and a Certified BMW Sales Executive for 3 years, followed by nearly 2 years at Karkour Trading Co. - VW AG group importers working as an Assistant to Volkswagen Brand Manager. Immediately after, George was ready to lead GEANT-MT Management & Trading, a company owned by his family, where he was appointed as a General Manager for over 10 years.
George is passionate about disrupting the classical shipping method by providing a service based on the sharing economy which is currently booming in the world.
