George J. Kallins MD

An obstetrician and gynecologist with a special focus on mood disorders, George J. Kallins, MD, is the author of "Five Steps to a PMS-Free Life." An entrepreneur as well as a physician, he founded Village Healer Press, which published the book. Over the course of his medical career, Dr. Kallins has also founded two other firms. Mission Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he became President and Chief Executive Officer, included nearly 15 physicians. George J. Kallins, MD, also established Medical Management Resources, where he served as the CEO. The firm provided medical billing and management services. In addition, he taught at the University of Southern California at the Keck School of Medicine and led the institution's Center for Women's Mood Disorders as Medical Director.

In 2004, Dr. George Kallins joined the family business American California Property Management Company (ACP Management), based in Southern California. As the President and CEO, he oversees the company's property management, development, and real estate management activities. George J. Kallins, MD, and his family at ACP Management strive to bring area communities back to life through top-quality, safe, and affordable housing. Dr. Kallins and his colleagues also manage apartments, industrial sites, retail and office space, and even resorts. Additionally, the firm assists people relocating in finding apartments in Southern California and Las Vegas.

George J. Kallins, MD, a member of the CNS Response Board of Directors, also maintains memberships in the Young Presidents' Organization, the World Presidents' Organization, and the USC Alumni Association. He has also been a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Association of Commercial Real Estate, and Property Management Professionals. A graduate of the University of Southern California, where he received a B.S. in Psychobiology, Dr. Kallins earned his M.D. at Rush Medical College of Rush University. He also completed an M.B.A. at Pepperdine University.
