George Newnam
A graduate from Chapman University's School of Film & TV in Orange, California. George was inspired by the illustrations of popular Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada, when planning and designing his Day of the Dead attraction, CASA DE CALAVERAS™ House of Skeletons. Also, George's collection of skeleton folk art from Mexico played a big part in the development. He and his team use such things as: recyclable objects, papier-mâché, fluorescent paper, paints and clothing, which includes vintage, new store bought and also newly designed costumes
George has also directed short student films and his graduate work, a dark comedy, Feast, was an official selection which screened at the 2003 Shriekfest Horror Film Festival in Hollywood, California.
