George Tkalych

Columbus, United States

Hi,

I am a risk taker and a very poised professional. As a retired head, neck, throat, nose and ear surgeon, I am an expert when it comes to keeping his cool under high pressure situations. I have been an Otolaryngology surgeon for 32 years but retired his practice in January 2013. Though I'm a retired man, I am far from done when it comes to helping others. Lately I have been enjoying my free time, but I have already begun the application process to be a part of the Doctors without Borders foundation.
I absolutely love the fact that my improved the quality of life for so many of his patients through my private practice and my selfless volunteer work. I have saved hundreds of lives throughout my career and focused approximately 15% of my practice towards helping those without insurance. He’s moonlighted for many different hospitals throughout Columbus and has conducted countless of operations absolutely pro bono. George I cannot wait to continue my good Samaritan work overseas and provide my expertise to those who cannot afford medical care.
In an interview, I shared that I have always had a passion to help others. My Christian Faith raised him to be the great Samaritan. I am today. I explained that there were many incidences where he could have lost his life, but thanks to God I am still here with you today.
