Georgette Topalis is a Winona State University undergraduate who is majoring in psychology, with a public relations minor. Focusing on sports psychology and sports marketing, Georgette Topalis is active with the American Marketing Association and plays on the school’s varsity soccer team.

Ms. Topalis maintains a strong volunteer presence on her campus and participated in the Warriors Got Talent fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She has also volunteered with the 2018 Game Day Experience and has served meals to those in need with the Central Lutheran Church. Active with Community Threads, she has sorted donated items and helped organize the workplace, as well as interacted with customers.

While attending Buffalo Grove High School as a two-sport varsity athlete, Ms. Topalis excelled at soccer and basketball, and was a member of the Blue Crew Spirit Club and the Greek Club. She achieved selection as the Chicago Tribune Northwest Athlete of the Year in 2017 and earned All-Sectional, All-Area, and All-Conference distinction during her last two years in high school. Georgette Topalis is a Presidential Scholar at Winona State and has been selected as a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team of Excellence.
