Geraldine Hollingshead

As an undergraduate, Geraldine Hollingshead studied public relations at Cleveland State University. Subsequently, Geraldine Hollingshead secured a position as an Account Executive at Cleveland’s Dix & Eaton, Inc., one of the area’s most prominent public relations firms. After a number of years at the firm, she decided to dedicate all of her time to raising her two children. When her youngest began his college career, she returned to the workforce, becoming a Receptionist for Fitworks, Inc. In this position, she shared in a variety of clerical duties with the General Manager, greeted members as they entered the establishment, fielded questions related to billing, and accepted payments. At Fitworks, she became an efficient multi-tasker and developed a reputation for completing work quickly and thoroughly. In January 2011, Geraldine Hollingshead joined the Camaco Lorain Manufacturing team as an Acid Etch Technician, and she currently performs analyses of the chemical and physical properties of steel and other products. She must keep exhaustive records of her findings and maintain a searchable database that other employees can use to inform their own work. In addition, she prepares charts and graphs that easily and effectively communicate her findings to her coworkers. She also holds responsibility for keeping a sterile laboratory. Outside of work, Geraldine Hollingshead enjoys spending time with her family. Her daughter recently graduated from the University of Dayton, and her son currently studies at Kent State University. Geraldine Hollingshead is also a voracious reader and keeps active through cycling. Understanding the importance of volunteer work, she has donated her time and resources to several different organizations, including the Leader Light Foundation, the Salvation Army, and St. Augustine’s Food Kitchen.
