Gerard O'Rourke

Gerard has been working in the areas of Information Systems Management and Internet System Development for over 11 years in Ireland and Australia.

Primarily working with government organisations he has been involved in the development and integration of cross departmental data systems which focus on utilising Internet systems to maximise efficiencies and reduce operational overheads. He has also been involved in development and management of multiple award winning consumer educational websites.

Over the last four years he has been involved in the development of a large suite of websites ranging from basic brochure sites to highly transactional ecommerce solutions. In addition to providing development services he has also been providing consultancy services in the areas of Internet Security, web strategy development, Social Media and Digital Marketing.

Gerard qualified with a Bachelors of Electronic Engineering from Dublin City Universe and also holds a Masters in Internet systems.
