Shaun Getson

I was born and raised in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. Growing up I competed in the sport of mens singles figure skating and trained at the Royal Glenora Club in Edmonton, Alberta. I turned professional at age 18, and ran off and joined the circus (literally). I toured the world for many years performing in various live and television produced shows. These include tours for Nancy Kerrigan's Hancock Fabrics H'alloween On Ice for ESPN, Disney's World On Ice (Toy Story, Disney On Ice 15th Anniversary), Bietak Productions RCCL - Explorer of the Seas - Planet Ice, Australian International Entertainment - Dubai, and Glacier Ice Productions Upon retiring from professional sport, I owned and operated two businesses. The first within the Plumbing & Gas Fitting field, and the other in the coffee house sorta thing. Currently, I am in the final stages of study at the University of Alberta within the Supply Chain Management and Procurement program and am anticipating completion Autumn 2015.

I have two beautiful American Cocker Spaniels, Quincy and Logan whom bring great sunshine and deviance daily, and love them all the same. In my spare time I immensely enjoy gardening around my home, and of course spending time with my dogs.
