Jason Oliveira

A brief synopsis (much more to follow) - Ever since being able to hold a crayon, Jason Oliveira has been drawing. Sure it may have all started with less than recognizable dinosaurs, but since then he has taken his art up a few notches.

Hailing from the mean streets of Taunton, MA, Jason spent most of his younger years sketching the world around him. Strangely that world was filled with caped heroes and monsters of all sorts. Jason could not stop creating. It was as though his creative energies were turned up to an “11” and his ability to reign in the wild energies were less than successful. (Much to his delight!)

Through his teen years and into his mid-20s he turned his attention more towards his music and writing, but through it all, a 4H pencil was never far from his grasp. After having little commercial success in those fields, he returned to his original love and started doing freelance graphic design jobs.

In 2009 Jason released a limited 7 print run for New York Comic Con. It was an eclectic mix of fantasy. Sci-fi and pop culture influence. Since then, he’s released the first of several fantasy novels he’s written, the first entitled “Mourningstar”.

Jason released a 2nd 7 print run for Mysticon 2012, completed Nate White's new CD and is currently working on a childrens book with author, Michael Conway. as well as producing a CD with his current band “The Significant Others”.
